Photographer’s Note

My visit to Washington DC from 14th-25th April this year was primarily for the purpose of attending a course on Education and Development being organized for participants from over a dozen countries by the World Bank at its headquarters.

On the third day of the course, the Bank organized a Thai food day in one of the lunch rooms on the floor above the course hall. Though I didn't attend to the lunch, I couldn't resist photographing the lady musician shown here seated on this colourful dais placed behind the entrance. A good entertainment for the guests I'd say :=)
