Established in 1872, Yellowstone National Park is America's first national park. Located in Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, it has a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot springs and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. A must visit place in my book.

hello shaeri

unusual: to see this one in your yellowstone collection. the other shots just scream COLOR and CONTRAST... whereas this dusky is much more mellow. i like it though. there is some spooky dusk-hour ambience feeling in it.

regards,
kristaps

ps. peter (pboehringer), avene, greg1949 and i are thinking about getting together for some end-of-october new england fall shooting. would you be interested to join since you seem to be 'in the area' too?

Hi Shaeri,
a good composition here, and a beautiful magic light of sunset.
I like very much the warm tones of colors.
Ciao
Ludo

nice perspective and light

All painted in gold!Maybe more precious than gold itself
I envy that family walking there, and in the same time happy for them
The wooden path well build there, keeping safe the nature

Bonjour Shaeri,
des couleurs très spéciales, mais l'atmosphère doit l'être là-bas.
J'aime beaucoup en tous cas cette atmosphère.

Hi Shaeri,

Your frame is stunning under splendid yellow tones. I like gold colored reflection on small part of water surfaces and wooden walking path while its adding great depth and life with visitors. Silhouettes of trees and steam clouds from ground are wonderful too. Congratulations.

Best Regards,

Ertugrul

Maybe this should be renamed to yellowsky national park! Youve certainly captured a bright and colored sky in the shot. Good time of the day to shoot perhaps.
Well done,
David.

Hi Shaeri, wow, its amazing how the light in the sky can change the appearance of an area so much. That of course is what makes this hobby of ours so neat, it's not just the taking of the shot, but the timing of the taking as well to give it character such as seen in this shot of yours. I like the hue in that sky, and the translation seen in the colour throughout the rest of the shot.

Thanks, John

Hello Shaeri,
Truly a beautiful sunset with the golden sunlight over the park!
great pov with good sharpness, nice colour and superb details
very nicely done

Hi Shaeri

Thanks for showing. I will be in the western US in November, & unfortunately, Yellowstone will be under snow & partly closed down, by then. Wonderful sunset colours, with good shadow detail. Tfs!

hello Shaeri,
I agree with Kristaps, here the mood is totally different, but I absolutely love the soft colours, pure magic. smart composition too, the wooden pathway nicely leads the eye into the shot, while the people illustrate the scale of the scene. really nice work, I like it a lot.

with best regards,
Kristine

Hello Shaeri. Nice warm capture of this perspective with the path and handrail adds dimension to the composition. I like the whole scene in well balances shot. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Hi Shaeri!

Fantastic, very impressive photo, and quite unusual for this particular place! Excellent use of the path as "lead in" line, great perspective, framing and compositon, marvellous light managment and warm colours! Congratulations!

Hercules

Well done Shaeri.
You have captured a wonderful glow in a place that has such uniqueness to it. Well composed with the walkway leading the eye into the frame.
Phil

Bonsoir Shaeri
des teintes jaunes pour ce paysage de Yellowstone... ça le fait plutôt bien. Belle ambiance et joli choix de cadrage.
Xavier

Hi, Shaeri -

Looks like you had a warming filter here! But it's just the sun.

Good composition and lighting, except that the trees in the center are a little too much in the center to my mind. Standing a bit more to the left makes a difference.

Best,
Dan

Hi Shaeri,
Another title could be "Yellow sky over Yellowstone". :-)
Unusual but wonderful atmosphere, a very nice compo, with the curved boardwalk making a great lead-in and a gentle symmetry with the lake on the right.
I like it very much.
Regards, José.

hehe a yellow tonality for yellowstone
interesting light well managed
good framing showing anthoer part of this place
regards

Dear Shaeri
Love the colour tones here...did you use any filter here? Perspective has been well defined with the wooden path, which also creates good depth. But it's the mellow colours which makes this so attractive. Good work!
Best Wishes

Hi Shaeri,

It is really a magic place this natural park and here with this image processing you add a special atmosphere to it. However and in spite of its interest, it is a landscape and especially a basement in perpetual movement which can, one day, to awake and make gigantic damage!!! Thank you Shaeri.

With all my friendships and with soon,

Jean-Charles

Hi Shaeri,
A very beautiful picture of this place. The light is really great and well handled. I very much like the yellow/golden sky. The bridge leads the eye nicely into the photo. Also the composition is good. Thanks for sharing!
Regards,
Lars

Hi Shaeri,
Impressive landscape. Your collection of Yellowstone Park pictures are wonderful.
This one looks like a beautiful painting with the warm orange tones. I hope one day I get to see this beautiful park with my own eyes.
thank you for sharing
take care, joRge

Shaeri,
the composition with the boardwalk and the people walking the bend is a very good one, but the color seems somewhat weird. I have the impression of an excessively yellow cast over the entire picture and I don't think that this is the case because this is the YELLOWstone. i also see considerable grain allover the image. I will guess that you might have used a high ISO for this shot to compensate the dawn and that ruined partially the image. BUT, pretty soon I will be there myslef, so I can't get enough in seeing images from there ...

shaeri

it is a nice pov, the golden light is like sepia. It is interesting the way where tourists can enjoy the place. In Chile geisers are isolated by us only for some big stones and there were many little ones in the ground, it is ever a show in any place

It seems there is a little noise, that disturbs me, but the golden light is soft and cool. Unreal too...

Hi Shaeri,
After a long break ..again!!!
Fabulous shot....wonderful colors. Yellow sky of yellowstone looks stunning. The dark greenish forground compliments well.
Regards,
Sagarneel.

Hi Shaeri. Nice photo. Surreal colours give this an eerie feel. Well composed, the path makes a great lead-in that draws the eye into the scene. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Hello Shaeri -

I have been here many times and I don't remember light this yellow. Was there a forest fire in the region? With the yellow this has an old time feel to it and works well. I am glad that you have people on the boardwalk as they make the image really work. Well seen and presented.

Thank you for sharing.
