Zion National Park, Utah, USA.

North Guardian Angel and the eastern Northgate Peak.
In comparison to Zion Canyon this area, accessed from the Kolob Reservoir Road, attracts practically no visitors - as far as we could tell! The road itself yields many fascinating views and opportunities for unscheduled slickrock explorations - if that's your bag.

It was a rather gray day, and extremely windy at this spot. This is perhaps my least blurred attempt at this one!

For such cloudy day colors look very good.
At least at this size I see no signs of blur. The photo looks well in focus, properly exposed and properly sharpened.

ce site est vraiment grandiose!
même si le temps était gris quelles couleurs, et que l'on se sent petit...
si un jour je vais aux USA j'inscris Zion dans ma liste "à ne pas manquer"
vraiment heureuse de voir régulièrement ce site sur TE!

Colin, great shot, really shows the scale of this NP. I don't like the top and bottom black areas, I think the picture would show better if it were just in the panarama format without the blocks of filler. Other than that tho it is, in my mind, a great capture.

I find sometimes the shots without any sun are more attractive, no highlights to deal with, a more natural picture, and it brings out lots of those wonderful textures, which is exactly what it has done here, composition is great, and a very natural look.
