Photographer’s Note
This waterfall is located in north-central Illinois in Matthiessen State Park near the more well known Starved Rock State Park. The water plunges 50+ feet from Matthiessen Lake. There is also a bridge right above this picture. This waterfall is the first of a set of 3 scenic waterfalls on this creek. Tomorrow I will post pictures of Starved Rock State Park.
