Along Comes A Spider Photo

Photographer’s Note

Following up where I left off with my last posting, the photo of this giant spider sculpture was taken in the same park just down the road from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History.

I was quite intrigued seeing it, my thoughts wandering between amazement, wonder at the artistic effort and disgust at the thought of ever encountering such a huge beast.

This spider also reminded me of the popular thriller "Along Came a Spider" which is set in Washington DC and which I watched on DVD a few times before travelling to the American capital.
