(People or places? Again, you tell me.)
I discovered these cardinal eggs in their nest in a shrub just outside the door of my mother's house when I went to visit her for Mother's Day.
We scrambled them up with some garlic and butter for breakfast. Delicious!
Just kidding. :D:D:D
(In the workshop, a far-off shot of Mom.)
Happy Mother's Day. |

Hi Hugh,
Perfect depth of field and focus, and the detail you've managed to capture on the egg is excellent. I like the composition with all the foliage in the way - it lets you know the nest is well hidden!
Great capture (out of smileys)
Regards
Lee
Your post today ?
Extremely sympathetic...
Far-off shot of mom...?
I think not...
I found it very close, as a matter of fact...
Smartie one...
A tender shot Hugh with a title like a poem. You know my love of nature and I find a mirror here...Great the way the eggs are sharp and the rest in lovely blur and natural colors. Good for you you did not eat them, I would have been very disappointed:D
Warm regards
(will be much less on TE for a few weeks, keep up the excellent work:-)!
