The rain has provided you with a beautiful color saturation, love the complex composition you have created here, and yet how the lines lead the eye to a central point. Very well seen.
Cheers,
Enrique
Hoi Fulvio,
Thanks for sharing.
It's me again,
this image is full of interesting elements. We can take a long time to observe all of them. It's a pleasant busy seen indeed! Very good colors and lights. Well taken, my friend!
Take care,
Carlos

Hi, Fulvio -
Well, it's a very busy shot, but New York is a very busy city, so it fits. I used to work below Wall St. and would go to the seaport from time to time for lunch, so this does bring back memories. The colors are really strong, and I notice that you basically have every element in the scene as a partial image only - so everything continues outside the frame. Best use of a complex setting, I would say.
Best,
Dan
Excellent picture! The technical quality is top notch. The colors, perspective and framing are outstanding. Great cityscape. You definitely make the most of the scene and the bland available overhead lighting.
This reminds me a lot of the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.
This is a dynamic big city capture. It is chocked full of viewer interest elements. Wow!
Ciao buddy,
Here comes the beautiful skyscapper of New York!
good fg perspective with those awesome colour of the seaport and the structures!
the exposure and focus is perfect in the shot!
many thanks for this wonderful sharing, my friend
big hug

Ciao Fulvio,
ottimi i colori e beela e particolare luce .
ottimo lavoro
Giorgio
Hi Fulvio,
This simply put, is damn good photography! You are a master at composition and you arranged this busy scene perfectly. New York City is not an easy place to photograph, especially in a tight spot like this. You used every square mm of space in the frame masterfully. I love the interplay of the "old vs the new" and the old red boat in the immediate foreground just makes this image sizzle! You really know what you are doing as an artist and as a photographer! Outstanding work!
Stan
This is as newyorkish as only newyorkish can be...
The density, the colors, the squares, the levels...
Never ending levers of New York.
The big, red 'thing'...
A marvelous insertion to balance the rest of the stuff.
Close your eyes and try to imagine this babe without the red boat...???
No way, man... ! It's a must in there
Keep running, Fulvio

The close crop makes it interesting, producing a strong contrast between the old harbor style and the modern urban background. Well seen.

I like this one buddy, it is awesomly busy and colorful. It is like an entire book in one frame, this is a great capture fulvio

Dag Fulvio,
Bedankt.
Prettig weekend,
John.
very nice, my friend! it's color fotography and, as henk says, we should bring out some color... :)) and you're doing just that, Don. good job. love this scene, in essence quite busy, but tied together by your color play. zmey is pleased here :)
cheers,
kristaps
The bold red and blue colours are well presented but from this view there is a lot going on. My eye jumps around a lot of detail. Do you have any other shots of the street and the buildings that you talk of in your write up. It would be nice to see a closer view.

Ciao, Fulvio,
So, this is it the city that doesn't sleep and where shoes longing to stray come to get the top of the kings?
A very jazzy shot, but to be honest,I prefer old homely Europe with its humansize houses and green yards:)

Nice WE
Valerka:)
yesss, this barely controlled chaos is what NYC is all about :)) love this shot, Fulvio, especially the bright red ship that seems to be charging towards the glass skyscreapers. the tight framing works well to illustrate the bustling activity of the place. excellent work!
have a great weekend,
Kristine

Cioa, Fulvio,
this sure is a switch from your desert scenes and done just as fantastically. After a rain and the air seems so clear, the colors so bright, rich... GREAT lines and angles, outstanding POV with the red prow directing the eye, mad sharp details. This is an impressive shot. Well done and have a great weekend!

Fulvio,
Very enjoyable shot. I love the way that nothing fits in the frame - the ship, the buildings, even the quay side. Somehow it looks as though it's all been pushed into the frame, like layers of stage scenery - very effective for this subject I think.
Regards
Colin
Hi Fulvio,
at the first look there are too many things in that shot whith no main subject. But after a little time, I understood that the subjet is just NY and the feeling brought by this mix between boats and building in the rain. But to work completly -IMO- you may have tried the b&w or at least left the colors -and/or contrast- as they were.
Cheers,
Loïc
