[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On my one and only trip to Yosemite I was forced to choose the time of year around my children's spring break - late March probably isnt the best time to be there, but at least the water was flowing. I had been there for 3 days and only seen the valley through rain and sleet. On the afternoon of the last day, the clouds finally broke for no more than 1 hour and I jumped in the rental car and headed down the valley. The sun really only came out for about 20 minutes and I pulled into the church parking area. In order to get a shot without all of the other tourists I had to over crop - but at least I got the falls with some light on them! The next morning we left for other parks in California and there was not a cloud in the sky...

Very pretty image. I think you've done a good job capturing some very beautiful scenery here and the trees make a nice frame for the rest of the shot. You may try a vertical compostion here if you can take this again and show more of the chapel. The crop could be improved I think as my eye feels stopped short at the bottom, left looking for more of the church.

Russ,
Nice shot of this great landscape! I would like to have seen this as a vertical format so we could see all of the height of the church as well as the background. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. A note telling us about this great place would be helpful.
Many people will not write a critique on a photo that does not have a note.

Asa

I don't think I've ever seen these falls from this angle before with that church included in the shot. I like it. I really need to visit Yosemite one of these days. This almost looks like it could be painting. Nice work. Welcome to Trekearth.

Ryan
P.S. I agree with Asa, you should add a note to the photo.
