The clear blue sky also works very well .

The buildings look strong, geometric masterpieces! I love the way they overlap!
In this shot, the space left by the buildings is just as important as the shapes themselves.

Great angles and lines, I like how you lined up the edge of the shorter building with the edge of the building on the right. Good contrast of different forms of architecture, yet similar colors.

Ce magnifique ciel bleu la rend encore plus impressionnante cette célèbre tour NY. J'aime beaucoup ta prise de vue et la belle perspective que cela procure. La lumière met bien en relief la façade intéressante du premier plan.

I don't think "graphism" is actually a word as I can't find it in any dictionary, but it is used a lot on TE to describe what I see in this image. The "graphism" is mesmerising. It's probably to do with the light and the way you exposed the shot, but all the geometric shapes and lines are shouting from the screen with a strange effect as you scroll down. It's a wonderful image and I think the strong blue of the sky is the perfect background for the architecture. This composition wouldn't have worked nearly as well on a cloudy day. Good work

Splendid photo of the famous Chrysler Building. It's wonderfully brought out by the sunlight and against the very blue sky. Also the inclusion of the two other skyscrapers is great and they add a wonderful graphism. Very good photo work, thanks a lot for sharing!

Ce que j'aimerais photographier ce sont les gargouilles aux angles du bâtiment, mais ça ne doit pas être donner à tous le monde de pouvoir le faire; Une très beau ciel et un beau rendu pour les surface des immeubles.

Splendide, Stéphane, tout a l'air en acier mais ça ne doit pas être le cas, j'adore ton point de vue (les buildings sont superbes mais le ciel au bleu profond est aussi magnifique)...

Le ciel bleu profond met magnifiquement en valeur l'immeuble que je considère comme étant le plus esthétique de Manhattan. J'adore le haut mélangé de béton et d'acier et les gargouilles qui lui donnent un air de cathédrale moderne.
Belle composition aux lignes convergentes.

Just lines...vertical, horizontal, grids. Yes, you picked one of the best skyscrapers of NYC (architecturewise) & used the tilt again to highlight the majesty. Interesting to see the gargoyle in the WS...this was something I was unaware of. The blue sky is special...I doubt without it, the image would have worked as well

qu'est-ce que je peux dire de mon building favori ?
Que tu l'as capté avec une lumière magnifique et quelques éclats précieux dans sa coupole élégante.
La perspective de ses lignes vers le ciel bleu est parfaitement mise en valeur, sur une grande photo d'architecture.
Je crois que la lumière était dans son meilleur angle et tu as su la mettre à profit avec une très bonne technique.
I love NY.

Bonjour Stephane, quels batiments! fer, beton tout melange, c'est froid, austere et pourtant impossible d'etre insensible a cette image. Tu as choisi un bon point de vue cela donne un belle perspective, le bleu du ciel etant parfait cela met davantage encore en valeur les tours.vraiment bien.

Wouahhh! quelle série! Voilà que je découvre une architecture que je ne soupçonnais pas. Les buildings, je les connais, comme tout le monde, mais tous ces petits détails, c'est une merveille et tu les as photographiés comme un véritable connaisseur et amateur.

Oui, ce building est magnifique et pas facile à présenter...
J'aime bien le cadrage penché qui donne un aspect dynamique à l'image, et le contraste entre le beau ciel bleu et les tours.
Les photos complémentaires sont sympas, spécialement 'another zoom'.
