Thousands of origami cranes were sent by Japanese school children to the people of New York after the 911 attacks. The colorful pieces of art with an American flag in their midst is a touching tribute to the victims and a heart-warming gift from children half-a-world away.
i've forgotten how to fold origami cranes, so instead, i'd like to share this picture with my friend Eric in Singapore whose passion for photography continues to awe and inspire me. |
