Photographer’s Note
In front of the Library of Congress this is one of the most remarkable architectural characteristics of a monumental building. The detail on these bronzes is phenomenal - it is hard to do it justice!
The two frogs look like they know it's a pretty special thing to be sitting so near to Neptune... they add a bit of a comical note to an otherwise sombre and dignified subject.
No filtres, no tripod - but hey! Where's his trident??? - on pp work - just an autofocus snapshot, probably to much of a cliché for the purists...
