Photographer’s Note

In front of the Library of Congress this is one of the most remarkable architectural characteristics of a monumental building. The detail on these bronzes is phenomenal - it is hard to do it justice!

The two frogs look like they know it's a pretty special thing to be sitting so near to Neptune... they add a bit of a comical note to an otherwise sombre and dignified subject.

No filtres, no tripod - but hey! Where's his trident??? - on pp work - just an autofocus snapshot, probably to much of a cliché for the purists...

Nobody has marked this note useful
