[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo was taken from an observation deck on top of an airport hotel at Dallas Ft. Worth (DFW). The American Airlines 767 is just clearing the horizon with the city of Dallas in the background. For those of you who are sports fan, you can see Texas Stadium just ahead of the jet's path. It took about 20 shots to get a decent result. Makes you glad for the days of digital instead of film :-)

Interesting to see an airport, Mark, where I've never been, but know very well. Now and then I listen to the air traffic control of DFW over internet and have come to understand the structure of the airport. It's so large that there are three ATC Towers, of which this is one - and perhaps the most central. It's nice to see it "in real life".

The panoramic format is well chosen for rendering of airports, as they by nature are wide. And the composition - framing the airborne aircraft with the tower and the hangar and with the skyline of Detroit as backdrop - is also well performed.

What your upload lack is somewhat in sharpness. One of the first thing i learned on TE, was the need of sharpening of my images as the final measure before uploading to the Web. If you didn't do that, it's possible to re-post a sharpened version. You've only used 84 of the allowed 200kB

If you did sharpen, then there's a slight blur in your shot, which unfortunately affect the overall impression. But the capture is great. Well done!
