[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is Dallas, Texas believe it or not. This is the rooftop of the Adolphus Hotel, built in 1912 and was the tallest building in Texas at that time. This view is from my 17th floor window across the street. It was built by Adolphus Busch, the German immigrant, of Anheuser Busch (Budweiser) beer fame (worst tasting pisswater in the world!) He wanted to build on the corner where Dallas City Hall stood, and indeed it was torn down to make way for the hotel.
This is also the hotel that wouldn't allow Sasha Cohen (as Borat) to check in, in the movie, though they have accepted Elizabeth II in the past!

Hello Tanya. There is lots to see in this photo here. What I like here is the complexity and variety of elements on the rooftop and the poor lonely pigeon perched on top of the archway wondering where the most convenient place to go poopys. Ha!
