Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C has already began with Cherry trees around Tidal Basin blooming. In 1912, Mayor Ozaki of Tokyo donated Japanese Cherry trees in an effort to enhance the growing friendship between the United States and Japan.
I took this shot while Cherry flowers were playing in the winds. |
