Photographers Note
The vegetation on Hawaii is amazing. Many species I've never seen before. These Painted Eucalyptus trees are among the rare species to be found at the arboretum on the way to Hana. These are the actual colours of the bark as they peel. Hard to capture the colours becasue the sun washes them out, so I picked a shady area of the grove. I burned down the washed out highlights in pp.

I used to think only leaves could have colours. The trunk is usually something between black and white with variations а brown, I'd say. But this is amazing! Yellow and red and violet - all at a time!
