The toloache the 'Moonflower'. A new Mexican restaurant that opened up a few months ago here in the theater district.

Hi Brian - good to see you're still posting.
The first thing that struck me here was the way you caught the woman directly below the purple awning - looks almost like a hat! Good timing.
Great light - there's an interesting contrast between the areas of deep shadow and bright sunlight.
I sort of wish it wasn't tilted, just to give the shot a more rigid structure, but nonetheless, I like this a lot - shame it hasn't got more attention.
Looks like the XA is giving you great results. I've been thinking of getting a little film compact - I've been stalking Ricoh GR1 cameras on ebay, but the XA looks worth a look. I bet they're a lot cheaper - those GR1's still fetch silly money...

Cheers,
Ben

Nice. Just a bit too dark on the guy in the front. The colours are fairly much stunning. Nice light day... even for Superia!

Looks mor eto me like Miami beach than NYC ;)... agree with Joni's remark on the foregorund guy, but I don't think brightening him would be a solution, maybe you could reduce his importance in the image by some generous cropping bottom and right hand side.
