This is one of the many Bed and Breakfasts, not to mention historic buildings, in Galena, Illinois. Eighty-five percent of Galena's buildings are registered historical places. This building for example, was built in 1867 and has, in turn, served the area as a bakery, store, and hotel.
Even if you are not much interested in history or architecture, there are plenty of unique shops and cafes to fill your entire day.
