Photographer’s Note

This Thurston's Resturant located in Bernard, Maine acroos from Bass Harbor. Fresh steamed lobster is available for $5 a pound if you cook them yourself of $12 for lobster dinner with fries and cold slaw. When you dine here by the sea you get the illusion that you died and wnet to heaven.

Yes I bet it does feel VERY heavenly!! A beautiful view. I like the flowers along the edge. It looks like abit of a dreary day, but I like that, gives it a great feeling. TFS

Beautiful capture with nice colors and well framed by this tree on the left, and the boats anchored are very attractive. The yellows of this restaurant gave life for the other elements of this picture. Well done, Regards, Consuelo

Hello Tom,
I like how the yellow stands out like a beacon against the more sombre tones of the rest of the image. Very good point of view with some lovely textures. Looks a nice place for dinner.

Probably the view from the top level of Thurston's Resturant at the harbour is fantastic like a seafood. Great view,very well taken and composed scenery.Thanks for sharing

Hi Tom,
it is very nice to sit there inside for a meal or a coffee and to have the very nice view around.
That the some parts of the restaurant and the leaves are colorful
in a grey color around makes it impressive.

Gostei muito do teu trabalho artístico , deixares apenas o amarelo e um pouco de verde , muito bonito este restaurante bem típico , e bastante interessante está assente em cima de estacas, parabéns!!!

Hi Tom,
Very good photo with marvelous composition. The way that you highlighted the lobster house and muted the colors surrounding the restaurant is very interesting and quite effective, in my opinion. My wife is salivating looking at this lobster house. She loves shellfish, but unfortunately I am allergic to shellfish. I would still love to opt for some delicious fish, though! I like this photo the more I look at it!

I am looking at your gallery and enjoying all your Maine photos. But this one got me. I remember this spot. The lobster is really to die for.

The color scheme in this shot is really great.

Maine is the very best state in my opinion. I hope I can make a trip up there again soon. I envy you my friend.

If I see you kayak, I might recognize it. It features in many of your photos :)
