| Chicago lies within the humid continental climate zone, and experiences four distinct seasons. In July, the warmest month, high temperatures average 84.9 °F (29.4 °C) and low temperatures 65.8 °F (18.8 °C). In January, the coldest month, high temperatures average 31.5 °F (−0.3 °C) with low temperatures averaging 17.1 °F (−8.3 °C). According to the National Weather Service, Chicago’s highest official temperature reading of 105 °F (41 °C) was recorded on July 24, 1934. The lowest temperature of −27 °F (−33 °C) degrees was recorded on January 20, 1985. |

Hello Henryk,
My father visits Chicago shortly, I hope he gets reasonable weather and brings home some photos like this one. The broken shards of ice here in Lake Michigan look incredible, almost as if they were precisely cut by human hands. The Sears Tower looks very prominent in this photo; I like how the golden morning light illuminates the buildings. I think a bit of extra sharpening will provide you with that defined edge that would offer greater depth. It is a very attractive scene; Chicago looks like a terrific city to explore.

Yellow city texture between two gorgeous tones are very attractive in your photo. Early morning light with low angle creates great play and reflections. Wonderful, congratulations.
