A winter's morning along the shores of the Merced River. Staying out with the moon in the late morning assured not missing a sunrise. That moon sure moves fast on the horizon.

Man I love the color of morning. This one has a great serenity to it that I really enjoy. Detail and sharpness are good and must really make the larger version pop.

It's been a long time since you posted and your return is a really eye popper. I love the soft light and the soft pastel colors of dawn. The snow adds another dimension to this image that makes it a joy to look at. I can just feel the cold in the image. Well done!

Steve,
the long abscence is compensated with a real stunner. I see that you were exploring the heavy snow, full moon pretty close to my place last weekend. Great and quite a classic POV. The pastel colors on the sky contrasting with the almost white out of the landscape is very nice.
I hope you have more to present.

Hi Steve,

I love the feeling of the powerful stone in these soft tones ... beautiful reflection .. love the moon in the water .. I really like the exposure on the snow in this low light .. and the detail and color in the trees as well .. wonderful.

Hi Steve,
It had been quite a while since I had come and there which magnificence!
A photo of fairy tale! We could almost see arriving a white unicorn and to find that normal!
A sweetness in the color and the just man this touch of dew in clouds... An extraordinary photo!
