Photographer’s Note
I know there are many pictures from Manhattan, but I didn't find that many from above.
I hope you enoy it
Manhattan is an island of New York City.
With a 2000 population of 1,537,195[1] living in a land area of 22.96 square miles (59.47 km²), it is the most densely populated county in the United States at 66,940 residents per square mile (25,846/km²)
Manhattan is the commercial, financial, and cultural center of the United States and, to varying extents, of the world. Manhattan has many famous landmarks, tourist attractions, museums, and universities. It is also home to the headquarters of the United Nations. Manhattan has the largest central business district in the United States, is the site of both the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ, and is the home to the largest number of corporate headquarters in the nation. It is indisputably the center of New York City and the New York metropolitan region, holding the seat of city government, and the largest fraction of employment, business, and recreational activities.

Hola Christian,
Gracias Christian.

Hello Christian,
An excellent shot of Manhattan, and I agree, I have not seen many shots of it from the air. The clear crisp air, the brilliant colors, and the sharp resolution make it memorable. In early 2000, just a few months before 9-11, I remember taking a helicopter ride and shooting the same area from the air, featuring the Twin Towers. Although it would be a scanned slide, I am squeamish about submitting it.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Christian,
Yes, I like it! It's not usual to see images from above, not in here. Your capture is clear and brings natural colors to my monitor. Nothing better than that. Well done!
Regards,
Carlos
PS: it's just bad we can't see WTC anymore... :(

Bonjour Christian,
incontestablement la capitale du capitalisme, Manhattan, vue du haut comme cela, à l'air de pouvoir être enferméez dans une main.
Une manière bien originale de nous présenter cet endroit.
Best regards.
Daniel.

Hello Christian,
A good photo of the southern end of Manhattan Island. I am certain that the image would look better with the inclusion of the WTC, which as you know would have been to the left of this photo near the green domed buildings. Soon the 1,776 foot tall freedom tower will stand here. I think that the perspective is good, there is a tilt to the left and a few minor blemishes but overall the quality is Ok. The yellow water taxi looks good to the bottom of the frame. I have seen NY in so many movies now that it feels like I know the place well without having been there. TFS.

Hi Chris,
5 centuries later than your Venice shots architecture is quite different ;).
Surprising view from this POV, a nice realization.
Well done!

Hi Christian,
Beautiful view over Manhattan from a wonderful POV. The photo shows a wonderful variety of architecture styles for the many skyscrapers. The yellow boat is a nice detail. Pity the photo is tilted. But well done and thanks for sharing!

Hi Christian, nice view of Battery Park and One NY Plaza. It's interesting to see the shape of the tip of the city from the air arfter having walk and work around that area for several years. TFS.

Yes my preffered perspective, its not the same without the WTC, but the edge of island location still makes an impressive city skyline, there is a little tilt to the left though, was this taken from a helicopter?

Hello Chirstian,
Really nice detail and clarity in this shot. The high POV is wonderful, and I really like the Staten Island ferry that is crossing at the bottom of the frame. I see this was taken in January; that's why the air looks so clear. :-) It's been so hazy these days.
