Washington Farm in Packwood Photo

Photographer’s Note

This wonderful farm sits just off US Hwy 12 on the outskirts of Packwood Washington (state).

The snowey tip of Mount Rainier is seen in the center background.

Something about a farm scene such as this brings the warmest of emotions to me when I see it. And when I can get a nice photo of one, now were talkin'...

Photo taken on our mini-trip to the Cascade Range in central Washington.

It really is a charming scene Tim - the simplicity of the view, the family and team work associated with farms (at least to me) all make this one a delightful photo. The snowed top is a remarkable bonus. Very well captured!

Great rural scene from Washington State, Tim. Well composed with the fence in the foreground, and the off-centered placement of the farm in front of Mt Rainier. Great colors, well done.

the front side is very beautiful; but the sky is too......i dont understand why you made the sky such unreal;it destroyed this great photo.

Excellent colors, and clarity. This is a very interesting capture. The snow capped Ranier really adds to the serenity of the scene.

I see you have a new gear in your photography arsenal Tim. Finepix S5000. And this lovely and warmth pastoral scene to boot it with. I just love those sundried grasses inside the yard Tim. You know, you pretty much like a fisherman coming back with the best catch don't you think.Except with no tall tales but just good photos. Thanks Tim for getting this and God's best to you too.

Very pleaseant image. Typically North American! Good compoasition with good details and clarity. I only find the saturation in the sky a bit too strong.

Tim- beautiful far and colors.
But even though the blue's beautiful, I'd crop down half the sky. I gave it a try on your picture, and it really brought the focus to the beautiful farmhouse with the golden lawn.

Beautiful scene here Tim, with the golden field in front, then the trees, the snowy mountain top, and then the blue sky and clouds... Very good compo and colours, TFS.
