I agree entirely - that very special golden red morning light must've been created separately and intentionally, it could not be accidental. everything and everyone looks gorgeous in that light.
what I like best in this shot is the figures in the background and how the fishing poles frame them. nice :)

Golden years "tryptich," George. Red gold and the three stages of man. Right there. Let that be a lesson to us. Don't spare the rod. Compose with it. I like it a lot.

superb usgae of reduced DOF with excellent light. He is very good in focus and his concentration well captured. Too bad that fishing is not preferred thing.

Dla wielu takie zajêcie jest rajem, czasem wykupionym dla siebie i swoich s³abostek tak samo potrzebnych do ¿ycia, jak powietrze. Tytu³ nawet na "jotê" nie mija siê z prawd± co widaæ na Twarzy i sprawnych d³oniach anglera. Co prawda malkontenci skrzywi± siê ze s³owem magenta, ale ja widzê tutaj tylko wspania³y spektakl wschodz±cego s³oñca.

I must admit that my favorites of yours are some photos rather
austere and that are not showing some paradise.Now I see that
you show some photos with a very relaxing mood,splendid light.
This one I really like it,strong focus,great timing...

No tak - ten tunel jasności musiał doprowadzić tu, nie gdzie indziej. To właśnie to miejsce, gdzie effelowski Pan Bóg łowi dusze na wędkę, płucze w wodzie, potem układa i suszy na piasku... Tylko dlaczego potem mówi: a teraz idź sobie, gdzie chcesz, choćby i do diabła ? ;)))
To jest rzeczywiście jedyne, niepowtarzalne, rajskie światło - jakby ktoś pytał, jak światło rajskie powinno wyglądać...
Mam nadzieję, że każdy z nas kiedyś takie światełko zobaczy :))(((

Beautiful, unhurried morning moment. I like those lines sharp on this one you clearly were as careful as he is on his task. Very positive scene indeed. I like the WS too. And prefer the natural colour balance of warm sunlight on it. To me this seems to have certain overdose of orange.

Yes, the light here is superb. This is one of my fav photos of yours lately. The composition is fantastique and the DOF simply great, with so many layers, being able to reach very far but given the deserved priority to the man preparing his fishing rod. What a beautiful light...and the soft shadows of his hands printed on the T-shirt...what an impressive image. Bravo!

Wow, those are definitely Florida colors, no question! (Even if they were helped out quite a bit by PP.) The aqua sea and the orange-gold skin tones--we are definitely not in Toronto! Even the man's age is emblematic of Florida. I like the shallow DOF that makes the makes the strong Florida feel seem dreamy and not quite real, some snowbound northerner's fantasy. Nice one, George, keep up the ongoing commentary on humanity. Regards, Ken.

Hello Gerorge,
Not expected to see such light from your hand, this looks like perfect landscaping light ;-) It are the blue tones against that warm sunlight what makes the image in light, but the man concentrated in front is surely the main attraction while the two people on the people oof make a perfect balance to it. A great shot in light, but strange to see such light coming from your hand. Seesm you can deal with all kinds of light...extra point for that ;-)
