Stitched HDR Wide Angle Photo

Photographer’s Note

The picture is composed of nine individual shots. Three vertical wide angle shots to the right, middle and left. The three shots for each angle were combined in Photomatix to create HDR images then the three HDR shots were combined in Photomerge to form the final image. Because the images were taken at 20mm and therefore quite distorted, the final image needed distortion adjustment using the Skew tool.

Using this technique the entire building could be incorporated in the shot from about 10 meters in front of the building without having unrealistic distortion.

A nice piece of architecture with an obvious Spanish influence!
Sharp fine detail and good clarity in colours, and some trees are the only disturbance to perfect symmetry...
