Photographer’s Note

This is one of the beautiful nature trails near my house. Minnesota is pretty good about keeping lots of parks and trails - even in the cities. When I take my dog out for a walk I have several to choose from, which is pretty nice.

Margo,
Nice, rich colors on a damp day which is obviously autumn, I even pinned it down as October before I saw the date taken note. Although the trees and bushes have turned brown, I like the contrast you show with some grasses that somehow remain green.
Yours is the only photo from Roseville, my hometown. I grew up near the Falcon Heights border. I can't tell which part of the city is in your photo, though. It's been 20+ years since I moved away and even back then I remember lots of open spaces and wooded areas were being made into housing, glad to see some of it remains. I miss the trees and greenery out here in southern California.
