Photographer’s Note
Kauai's one of those places that's beautiful to be, but hard to photograph (for me). Too many big spaces, I guess. Oh well. I'm pretty fond of bright green and blue in the same frame, ergo this photo. I like the sense that there are two different panes in the photo.
This was taken from the Kalalau Trail which runs along the Na Pali coast. Of course, I didn't actually take that whole big trail -- we cut up toward a waterfall and pool that were pretty keen (and that didn't photograph well).
