Elephant Hill is a technical section of 4-wheel-drive trail in the Needles District of Canyonlands. I always loved this section because it offers a view of what to expect if you can get past Elephant Hill.

Lovely colors. This rock seems almost a decor for a western film. It's amazing to see this white layer of rock between the brownish layers. The stormy clouds look almost unnatural compared to the more sunny space in the foreground.
