This is big bend in the Hudson River just before it reaches Warrensburg, population 3,000 the first town with over 1,000 people along the banks of this river that gathers over 10,000,000 at its mouth in New York City.

A beautiful scenary about the winter season with part of the mountain covered with snow and border of the river, also. The reflections are with great clearness. Oh, my gosh, Tom,
that looks COOOOLD. Beautiful wintry colors and that winter light is excellent. The reflections are wonderful and I love those low lying clouds. Brrrrrrr. We are supposed to be getting temps in the mid to high 70's this coming week. I don't mind at all... Stay warm up there!! Best regards,

Awesome, world is starting to look all soft and cold. The detail in your shot is very good and the colors very real. I like the foreground land, make the reflection more effective I think. Great capture.

Hi Tom,
You framed this well creating a composition with great balance and harmony as you took advantage of the this placid section of the Hudson to capture a lovely reflection. the symmetry of the two hillsides add greatly to the balance. The overcast has made the light a bit flat. I did a Ws playing with the levels a bit.

Tom,
a very nice landscape shot giving the impression a very tranquil place and I never could imagine that at the end of the river we would encounter a city with 10 million people. It makes me wonder how Manhattan might have looked several centuries ago.

Très joli paysage et belle perspective. Bonne composition et les couleurs sont bien rendues sous un ciel plutôt nuageux. La réflection est superbe et j'aime bien l'avant-plan aussi. Beau travail.
