Astoria marina and bridge,looking towards the Cascade mountains in Washington state ,it rained most of the morning as we drove all the way to mount St Helens,5000 miles and it rains ,,but it was still great to visit the area ,,

Hello Barrie,
Welcome to the Northwest! They say in Oregon and Washington it is advisable to carry a winter coat, an umbrella, and sunscreen at all times, does this come to mind?
I like this shot of the bridge and marina, the colors are muted and adds atmosphere to the scene. Sorry to hear of the weather after travelling so far, hope that St. Helens was worth the trip.

The astoria bridge always makes a great photo, it's so dramatic. I love the blue tones in this one, and the bright sky peeking out of the background. It does rain here a lot, but then that's also why it's so green and beautiful. I hope you enjoyed your trip!

hello Barrie,
I like the blue of the water as it has an irresdent quality and the nice turquiose blue in the sky. The composition is good with the bridge at the two third pont in the frame.
