The Grand Canyon, shot from the helicopter, Feb, 2007.
The Colorado river was dark-brown with soil from the rains - just like milk chocolate. Two days before, it was light-green

Hello Kostas,
I am just unable to resist such an attractive title ;-)
The view is worthwhile and I don't regret the visit. TFS this wonderful landscape.
Everything is impressive : the mountains, the sky, and the colour of the Canyon.
Regards,
Marianne

Kalimera, Kostas -

Great photo, especially considering you had to compose it on a moving helicopter. (What were the f-stop and shutter speed?) Really nice use of curves and diagonals, and good use of lighting.

Regards,
Dan

A very unique view of the Grand Canyon and very well composed. There are lots of flowing lines in both the river and the rocks.
Well done.
Phil

Original square framing, fits well with the subject. The only minor point IMHO is the upper right side of the sky, too dark maybe. Great colours and composition with the soft "S" of the river cutting the sharp lines on the ridges.

Amazing... giant! TFS a so intereting and very good shot Kostas, Best regards, alain

Capturing from a helicopter gave you a great PoV! This rocky formation is a stunning geological phenomenon. I would add that this is like a cake of chocolate.
I like the mysterious sky and the great depth of the view.
Thanks for sharing.
See you again.
Have a nice weekend,
Athanasios.
