On our way back from SAn Francisco to Los Angeles (between Monterey/Carmel and San Simeon/Hearst Castle) we had a long drive alongside the ocean. After LA, Vegas and SF this was a very nice road to drive to the end of our USA trip. The views were breathtaking, but there weren't too many opportunities to stop and take a photo (because all the stops were occupied by other tourists).

Luckily we could get out here to strech out legs and eat a sandwich out in the open. Somehow this view made even the lousiest sandwiches taste good.


Figured it be a nice shot to end my USA travelogue with (for now).
