Reflecting on a cruise
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Back home after our Inside Passage cruise from Vancouver to Seward, Alaska, and checking some of the almost 3,000 images I took in 10 weeks: this one was shot as we eased our way to our berth in Juneau. It was the last few weeks of the Alaskan cruising season for 2007, and our ship, the MS Statendam from Holland America, had the pick of the best available berths.
Here we see the colourfully decorated 'Norwegian Sun' in the foreground, and the 'Sun Princess' to the left: coincidentally, the Sun Princess visited my home port of Fremantle, Western Australia, just recently in Nov '07. |

Hi Jeff,
capturing two of these giants is also a coincident, but here we see four of them !
TFS and cheers from Austria, Christian
Hi Jeff,
Nice capture of these impressive and colorful cruise ships. Good light management and very nice reflections. Good job and TFS. Gerald
Hi Jeff,
I find it framed a bit too tight but the reflection is superb, amazing to get water that still and not perturbated by waves from the boats.
Have a nice day JY
