The Front Range in Colorado is where the Rockies meet the plains of the central U.S. Traveling east to find mountains has high as the rockies you need to travel to Turkey.
Sunsets are spectacular, as this shot shows. The high mountain on the right is Longs Peak, a sight familiar to those who make the trip to Rocky Mountain National Park.
The shot was taken along the boundaries of Boulder and Jefferson Counties north of Denver looking west towards Boulder.
