| Art and Music festival was held at national mall at Washington DC and I spotted this artistic truck on display. As far as I know, it was from Pakistan. It's intresting that how they brought all the way up to DC. Later, after doing some research, I came to know that decorating truck like this, is a part of life in Pakistan (and surrounding countries??). By doing this, truckers express themselves, and compete for customers. Some do it to express gratefulness to gods for prosperity. According to the Drivers -"The expense is well worth it. No self-respecting merchant would trust his goods in the bed of a shabby looking truck". (from Internet research) |

That had to command some attention in D.C.
Pretty neat shot! And a good note!

Good catch. If you had moved your POV to catch more of the art on the side of the vehicle, you would be able to capture more art works. I know it is not under your capacity but I would prefer a complete wheel rather than partial.
