Photographer’s Note

The trade winds stopped at sunset and the constantly swaying palms, stood still, as if to acknowledge such a splendid time of day. The palms had been so busy that day with moving in the constant winds. That night it poored down rain for 6 hours and then the sun rose again in a near cloudless sky.

I only had a UV filter and experimented with different exposures.

i really like this shot. the shilouette is perfect. and the framing of the sun is effective. the setting sun is not overexposed.
