Photographer’s Note
This is a trail going via the water of the Virgin River in Zion National Park, in Utah. Hikers simply walk in the water. I have spent 8 hrs being wet...all worth it...this is a dark looking part of the canyon, however,there are many very colorful once. I decided to show this as a first photo from the Narrows because I think it shows the "dramatic" formations. Imagine the rock walls several thousand feet high hanging over your head in the narrow canyon with practically no dry land under your feet.

I have hiked this trail many years ago, before the advent of digital photography. Thanks for posting this image as it brings back many happy memories. Your composition is commendable wand there are good tech details. You have a good collection of pics from UT. I shall come back to peruse longer. Regards, Danilo
