This is a manhole cover in San Diego circa 1988. Original in colour - I decided to play around. Th stripe is yello in original. I used channel mixer to get the manhole cover to be impactful. I liked the B&W effect for drama

good idea. i think a tighter crop and more contrast would be nice. have you seen a similar manhole photo by umbrellaphotos? it's a manhole cover in minneapolis.
