Photographer’s Note
The New York City Marathon at the half way point.
This was the greatest weekend of running in the history of New York City. On Saturday November 3rd The USA Olympic men's Trails were held and today November 4th The New York City marathon. Over 30,000 runners and make believe runners from all over the world competed, walked, threw up, spitted, sweated, huffed, puffed, laughed, partied, strange sounds and smells emitting from their bodies all with the goal of finishing the 26.2 mile race.
This photos was taken in Long Island City Queens just a little over the half way point of the race. After 14 miles this guy from south of the boarder still has his game face on, going for a personal best time or just personal victory. There are no losers in this race only winners.. Hum.. Maybe that guy from Africa who won the race and the half million bucks and brand new car might think different.

Hi, Marvin,
this is a great shot. I love the different expressions of the runners in focus. Well composed to get all the faces staggered and the background blur is excellent. Welll done!! Thanks and kind regards,
Shelly

What eyes, Animesh. How did you manage to get it front on with so little perspective compression ...?
