"He began to dance and his laughter became a bloodthirsty snarling." - William Golding, Lord of the Flies
But as the student of Nietzsche will no doubt remember, the world is chaos and not all will find their way to the ecstasy of illumination.
Some will fall, descend, into madness, disintegration, violence and mutual dismay. Dissolution is only the beginning, a leap of resignation . . .

Hi Hugh, you really spoilt us with number 1. This one doesn't really have a focal point - too many distractions. For some reason I keep getting drawn to that woman fiddling with her camera. Best regards, Roberto

Something of strange : 84 views and just 1 point for a very interesting photograph !!! There is a strong dynamism and I like colors you managed here...Congratulations.
Best regards. Grazyna.

I do agree with Roberto in a way, although not about the lack of focal point - both kids in the foreground hold the attention, especially the one on the right about to leap off the fountain.
Where I agree with Roberto is that the background details are quite distracting. It looks to me like your point of focus wasn't on the action in the foreground, but somewhere between the kids and the woman on the bench. Bringing the point of focus forward would have made an immediate difference.
I also think using a wide aperture to throw the background details out of focus would have improved things, although you were restricted to f/5.6 at the long end of your lens, so that might not have been possible.
Never mind all those technicalities - I like this shot for the spontaneity you captured - it's full of life and movement.
Good stuff Hugh.
