This place south of Kona IS called The End of the World. There is even a road sign to here.
Here, the waves are especially big, they crash against the rocks producing such a noise that it is difficult to talk.
Still, I think,it was a lovely place to have a bottle of wine and watch the sunset.
I apologize for digital noise. It was getting dark, and I didn't have a tripod. I tried to reduce some noise, but not much, in order not to make the photo too soft.
P.s. Oh, if you think the rock on which the waves are crashing isn't so big, you are mistaken. I can't say for sure how tall it was, but I don't think it was less than 7-8 meters. |

Hi Olga,
I imagine this place is a great sight at sunset. Still, the water provides a nice show. Tfs!

Hi Olga.
It's an impressive shot!!..it`s very good composed too and with an appropriate place name and title...
I've made you a WS to try to clean the noise..,I hope you like it.
Saludos
Hello Olga,
This is fabulous work! The timing of the huge wave crashing against the rocks couldn't have been timed any better. The low number of critiques have absolutely no bearing on the value of your outstanding image at all. I do believe that your photo suffers somewhat from the compression and resizing process of the unforgiving Trek Earth requirements for posting. I also think that some contrast enhancement would have made this photo "pop out" from the screen a litte more. The noise that you mentioned can easliy be corrected with the proper technique. I am not a Photoshop expert so I would recommend asking around and getting some tips from TE members who are much better at PS than I am. Still a fantastic shot and well done!
