Photographer’s Note
Well friends it's been long since my last post and I've missed all of you and your works dearly. I thought I finish my series with this shot of Upper McCloud Falls.
Upper McCloud Falls is about 30 ft. in height as McCloud River explodes powerfully through a narrow gorge into a beautiful pool.
It is a short 5 minute walk from the Middle Falls viewpoint (at the top of the falls) to the Upper Falls viewpoint. It is hard to get a good view of the Upper Falls from the viewpoint. We think the best view will be had if you scramble down to the base of the falls. There is a spur trail leading down the steep bank to the bottom. This is one swimming hole that you will probably have all to yourself.

Hello my friend Pranab,
Very beautiful place! You chose an excellent POV. The colors are superb and I like the inclusion of the people, they gives a good scale. Very good management of the light.
Well done!
Have a nice sunday

Hi Pranab,
The tree covering right part of the frame is nice and matching with the scene and adding depth to the fall. Looks a great destination for rest and relax for trekkers.
Thanks and regards

Hi Pranab. Good to see you back again with this great shot. Difficult exposure, I'd say, with the sunlight on the foaming water, but this has turned out well. It gives a good idea of the height of the gorge, and the tree on the right is a good framing device. I like the inclusion of the human figures in this one to convey the grand scale of the scene. Very nice indeed.

Andrew

Hi Pranab
Nice to see you back my friend ;)
A beautiful place all for you and the people down giving scale...I like this beautiful vegetation, the shining in the water and the inclusion as well of the long tree on the right side.
Cheers

Hello my friend,
This seems to be a peaceful corner of the world, offering both beauty and tranquility!
Interesting point of view from above, nice framing by the fir to the right side...
A well composed image, where I appreciate inclusion of the people, also for scaling!

Hi Pranab,
Welcome back!! I really like the way you framed this photo. It really gives one the feeling of being there; feeling the sun on the bright FG tree,
hearing the roar of the water out of the rock wall, anticipating the shock of the cold clear turquoise pool after the long, hot climb to this secluded delight. Well done!!

Hi Pranab!
It's nice to see you again...where have you been? Anyway, I hope you're fine.
About the picture, the most I like is the idea of the people there to give us a lovely idea about how big the place is.
Well done and wellcome back!

Hi Pranab.
It was not an easy photo.
Good POV but I think you should improve the exposure because it looks a bite overexposed.
Anyway, thanks for sharing.

First rate picture of a natural environs. I like the soft colours.
Reminds me of the falls I saw in Coorg. Took photographs and lost them.
