Photographer’s Note
Behold the wonders of tide pools! I was lucky enough on my last visit to the Pacific Coast, to have a very low tide. It's like walking into a different world when going to visit the creatures of the tide pools.
Sea anemones are pretty cool. They certainly are odd looking and look even creepier when they are not submerged in water (unlike these). Their tentacles are filled with stinging cells that paralyze small animals in the tide pools. These animals are then pushed towards the center where the anemone eats it.
On the Washington coast most sea anemones are green like these, but there are a few that are more of a violet/purple color.

Brian,
Another very fine detail from these pools. Almost luminous this one; fibre-optic!
Great composition, neatly avoiding the obvious to create something quite startling and original.
Really good one!

Hello Brian
YOue were looking for graphism, and even thow these two provide some graphism, I find that their is too much symmetry in these two elements, and in this particular case symetry does not seem to work. I think a different framing where you show more of one of the anemones compared to the other one would show some opposition which would lake it more dramatic to look at.
