Photographer’s Note
The Village of Pecatonica was incorporated in 1869, built on "Indian territory". State The name Pecatonica is an English approximation of the Native American phrase Pee-kah-toh-lee-kah, meaning "murky meandering waters" or "crooked river". The Pecatonica River forms the village's northern border.

A nice looking shot Henryk. Great composition and perfect placement of the bench and barn in the photo. I like the cloud covered sky, reflection of the barn and the lines of the pond and road going through the photo. Good color also. Nice greens and good contrast between the red of the barn and dark sky.
Nice work.

Hello henryk,
Very nicely composed shot..!!! with all the elements properly placed here..the bench is looking very good in fg with the ducks in the water and also the barns...this is a place one can sit and do a retrospection of his life....!!! a very quite and peaceful place and very well depicted by you.!!!

Hello Henryk! I have a soft spot in my heart for these "lonely" bench shots. This is a very idyllic scene, the capture of the ducks adds a little life to the scene. All and all, a well composed scene.

Hello, Henryk,
Interesting note, and very inviting bench to sit on. I like the contrasting colours as well and their passage from bright to pale hues.
And the reflection on the water surface is also likable.
