Hi,JB,
Nice title, very matching, though, when it's about the USA. I think, it's even more expressive in this sepia tones.

Valerka:)

Hi JB,

TFS Chris

Bonjour JB,
Amicalement
Joël

Hello JB,

Good photo, interesting composition ja angle. Light effect work quite well.
Excellent Work!
Jorbe

Hi JB,

I already wanted to congratulate you with your office space, but I now read the note and see the picture with the pack of people in front of you. Well, congratulations with reaching the forefront! ;-)
I like how you included the buildings directly below. It creates a great perspective. And let me tell you how I always love your notes - even bilingual!! I always read them both, understanding the most of the English but at least practicing my French every now and then ;-).

Have a good weekend!
Dennis

Hi JB. Excellent photo. the haze has given this shot a nice atmosphere. Well composed with excellent POV. Great PP also. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

The wide-angle was a great choice to show the density of the buildings, and the way the distortion makes it appear like they're bursting outwards from the centre gives the image a great dynamism. Even the crazily tilted horizon doesn't bother me!
Most of all though, I think it's the quality of the light that makes the shot work - very atmospheric.
Good work JB.

Cheers,
Ben

Real concrete jungle.
Superb POV.

Hello JB,

A+

Dominique

Bravo !!!
Cath.

Bonjour JB -

What I really like about this image is your PP conversion. This image a real old time feel to it with the OE'd haze in the background. The use of the extreme WA lens also helps in old time feel. Well done, Bravo!

Thank you for sharing.

John

Hi JB,

amazing perspective and fog. The sepia tones just enhanced the composition. That's why I'm thinking about buying a wide-angle lens. It' nice to see the details from the bottom to the top. Great image!

Bonjour JB,
Amicalement.
Daniel.

Hi JB,
You've captured and composed this concrete jungle perfectly.... aptly titled. I like the overall depth, tones, and lines ... technically very good indeed. Excellent work! tfs.

Hello JB,
very well captured shot of Manhattan's skyline. The pov from the Empire State Building's terrace is excellent and the perspective is really great. Due to the not favorable light conditions the b/w format is well chosen. Good work!
Tfs and best wishes.
Attila

Salut,
j'aime beaucoup .

Bravo a toi .
Salutation.

Salut JB,
Igor

The wide angle lens was definitely the right choice to allow you to cram so much into the frame. Shooting into the sun and the hazy light makes for a great atmosphere. Good choice to convert to sepia too.
Kath

Hola JB , Que tal !!
Saludos y buen verano!

Hello JB,
Very interesting skyline captured with the misty athmosphere around the skycrappers, maybe it will be better on wide shot. I thing is a good idea to choose the b&w version with minus lighting on the top. Great job JB, thanks :-)

daniel

Hi JB,
Indeed the focal difference created an interesting perspective here. I like how the buildings offer here a view as if they were needles placed on a sphere. Your toning and the mist gives a timeless feeling. TFS,
Deniz

Hi JB, GREAT IMAGE!
one of the bestfor my taste...
i love the angle and the POV and the fog on the top...
SUPERB RESULT!
ciao!
Valeria

Bonjour JB,

Bon travail

Hi JB,
Beatiful photo is this "city landscape". The perspective really creates a dynmism, like you explained in the note. The brownish colours and the vague and foggy shapes are very good.
TFS,
Stef

hello;
Nothing to say!Excellent.
best shot of the view from Empire State building!
fog on the top gives extra effect..

Bonsoir JB,

Bravo.

Amicalement,
Angel.

Hi JB,

simply: perfect...goes immediately to my favorites...

Take care, Ivana

Hello JB
he praises perspective the one that you show us in this image, the POV inclininando the camera down is a very good, good work with the subdued color, she adds more dramatism to this beautiful image.
good work
a greeting.

Salut JB,
A+

JB, amazing to see how many outstanding shots you got in NYC. I didn't check it out, but I have the impression that all your shots form there were done during a single stay and that is even more impressive. I wonder how many shots you did during this visit and how many awsome photography more you will be posting from this time. The shots are so good that it gives the idea that you lived in that city and knew exactly when to be where to get most out of every composition. This one here is ripe to be enlarged as a poster for selling to any Big Apple tourist and fan.
Regards, Peter

A nice assembly of LEGO. Great shot of this nice city with it’s interesting buildings. Nice composition and POV.

Hi JB,
this photo is like a postcard of New York! It's great! Excelent the composition and the sepia tone.

Hi JB,
Amazing depth and resolution in this interesting shot. And yes, the short focal does create a dynamic look. The misty or smoky haze in the background is very enhancing, though I am not sure if that is not pollution. Very fine work...later.
John

Wow, magnificent image, JB. Love the way you composed it in the vertical showing also the closer buildings, adding also some sense of vertigo. Excellent work with the presentation and nice mist in the background. This is really good.
