Photographer’s Note

This is my third photo of my trip to Boston. I took it on a cold and windy day. This brigde is the Northern Avenue Brigde from 1908. On the other side of the brigde, you see the financial part of the city centre.

About the photo: increesed contrasts, slightly cropped and rotated, resized and sharpened in InfranView.

Hej Stefan!
Goed dat je er weer bent. Nu moet ik m'n vader nog overhalen weer te gaan posten, dan is het weer compleet, maar hij had al beloofd dat binnenkort weer te gaan doen.
Deze foto kan ik me nog herinneren! Hij is erg leuk met de herhaling van die stalen constructie van de brug. Het contrast met de modernere kantoortorens is ook leuk. Mooie foto! :-)

Hello Stef,
Fine composition of buildings through the bridge from a good pov. Having the pedestrians completes the picture and makes somewhat of the counterpoint to the sign even if the lights aren't flashing. Including more or none of the sign on the lower left edge would perhaps be better. Regards,

le graphisme de cette architecture et le choix du cadrage donnent une belle photo. j'aime beaucoup la présence des personnages au milieu de toutes ces lignes.

Hoi Stef, goed je weer te zien posten en wat ik hier zie bevalt me uitstekend! Het krappe frame, de oude truss bridge onder een mooie hoek genomen, de (post-)moderne architectuur erachter de mensen op de bug voor de levendigheid en de kleur van de muts die wonderwel overeenkomt me die van de trimming van de brug. Mooi stedelijk werk!

Hi Stef,
Good to see you back posting and to hear from you. This is a most impressive image, with the tangle of girders and columns actually creating a pleasing contrast to the building in the background, with all the hues and tones blending nicely. The pedestrians strolling help balance the frame and provide warmth. I like your PP work here too. Well captured. Cheers...Later.

Wow, geweldige en creatieve compositie. Mooi hoe je de brug als frame gebruikt. Technisch klopt alles en de twee wandelaars maken het plaatje compleet.

Olá Stef, wonderful perspective and brown graphism here. Love the sobreposition of the bridge's structure in front of the buildings and also little details as the white sign, the couple coming along and the green parts. The composition is great.
