Quiet by the Lake Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is a small idilic lake on the way to the entrance of "Hoh Rainforest".It was just a few ducks and I that shared the moment, the beauty and the silence. The forest is found within Olympic National Park and is an amazing place and well worth a visit.I will have more images of it later so I won't say more for now.

A contrapuntal feast of layers of green in an infinite variety of textures .. a cluttered emptiness? very nice image.

Hi David. What a wonderful lush scene. Well captured, I love the reflections giving a calm mood. Strong diagonals aid the composition to show depth. Thanks for sharing.
