I took a photo last fall of The Nishinomiya Japanese Garden. Decided to go back and take photo of the garden during the summer.
The Nishinomiya Japanese Garden was completed in 1974 and symbolizes the friendship of Spokane, Washington, for its sister city, Nishinomiya, Japan. A well-known Japanese landscape architect, Nagao Sakurai, who at one time was in charge of the Imperial Palace grounds, was enlisted to design the garden in 1967. Construction of the waterfall and pond began in 1990. Late in 1973, after Nagao Sukurai suffered a stroke, two landscape architects from Kobe, Japan, Shosuke Nagai and Hirohiko Kawai, were contracted to complete the garden, which was dedicated by both cities on May 17, 1974.

I love sharp pictures, but here I think sharpness is overdone. Blur with a 0,2-0,3 radius, I think it would better fit the relax such a picture inspires. The rest is perfect, form composition t saturation.

Excellent colors and composition here. I like the wide array of colors, and the reflections in the water. I will agree with markogts that it does seem over sharpened.
Overall, nice work, thanks for sharing!

I like the idea of showing this shot in the summer so that it can be compared with your shot taken in the fall. What a difference in colors!. I wont repeat what has been said already about the sharpening. Just keep practicing and this will come to you. Excellent composiction and POV and an interesting note as well.
Very well done,

All these lush greens and reds make for a stunning reflection in the calm pools below.
The lovely Japanese walking bridge cuts a very tranquil line through this vivid landscape.
