Hi Peter
I totally agree with your note. The TE virus is infectious and the best part is meeting other members.
Although the clouds are over-exposed the scenery is pretty spectacular as it's very contrasted. The sharpness is spot-on.

Salut Peter,

Hello Peter!
Funny photograph:) I always like taking photos of another photographers when they are fully concentrated on their job that they can barely see what is going on around them! I like this shot, nice atmosphere.
Good luck to you and all your friends,
viktor
Hi peter, a fantastic image.
I was under the impression that i was addicted to TE-using credit cards to fund my camera, equipment + location habits-money which i don't have, also worrying my family with my relationship with this pleasure source.
But now you say that it is a-contagious?-disease.
Is their any antidote?...you know?...i don't want an antidote!!
Great image. Great community spirit. TFS.

Bom registro, Peter.

Hello Peter -
I have to agree with Henk on this one - a bunch of photographers having fun on a Saturday morning. There is no better way to spend a Saturday! Well done, you sure sneaked this one in while everyone attention was some where else.
Thank you for sharing.

Hi Peter,
Great shot you got here and I love your story! Must have been a great gathering there. I'm also doing badly with my TE-itis. Just getting out of bed, turning on the computer for the new postings and reactions. A slight tremble when typing www.trekearth.com and just before I go to work I caress my D200 a last time and wish it a good day, while I take my smaller Sony R1 along... Yes, I know. I'm not doing that well ;-).
Nice shot!!
Greetings, Dennis
Peter,
Ha, ha!,I am not alone!... now I know the name of my illness.... please check my intro to find some characteristics of the TE-itis, and tell me if you suffer from the same.
Excellent note and photo.

Olá Peter,
I had already suspected that this was a disease, now I see a doctor confirming it. :D
They really seem to be having a good time.
I appreciate the fact that the photo goes well beyond a journalistic snapshot, and features a very nice compo, great light, sharpness and colours. It's remarkable how the sun shined mountains up there are not completely burnt out.
Um abraço, José.

Hey Peter, I love this photo! When my friends ask me where I've been or "we haven't seen you for months" this explains it. You took advantage of the swiftly moving clouds.
We were taking shots of a distant waterfall with a mountain peak above it and by the look on my face I was waiting on a LONG IR exposure. I think the disease can take over your life and for some make it better. Thanks for all the hospitality I'll definitely be there next year. Steve Sieren

Hi Peter,
I enjoyed so much the group photo that I wouldn't have nocted the clouds were it not for Nikki's note. However, I thinks capturing detail in the had precedence over the clouds here. I sense Daniel's concern with this virulent disease; after all, you ARE a doctor. HLJ, Pat

Hi Peter,
I don't want to talk about the technical crap, this is just a great image in combination with the note. TE is indeed a combination of photography and meeting people all over the world. Together exploring new worlds, trying to make the best shots you ever made, have fun together and exchance personal thoughts about photography.
A good photo Peter...well done..!!!

Hi Peter,
I like your terminology, TE-itis ... it might catch on :) Looking at this shot, one can imagine how we TE community go out of the way just to get that 'best' shot in order to post here. The scenery is great ... but inclusion of TE members in action makes this special. Excellent work! tfs

Hi Dr. Boehringer,
Now that you've done the right diagnostic, let's face it we're severely contaminated by TE:itis, so is there any way to cure this like go out with friends and shoot pictures ? That's a nice framing of our friends though challengeable from a TE ToS point of view, I can feel the intensity of the action but also notice your clouds seem to be overexposed.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hello Peter,
Perhaps you write the truth about the virus, alone I'm no traveler, I do alone every day an trip with my bike, or a day trip with our car.
This is a wonderful image with us friends in full glory, but also with a excellent background, a wonderful composition and pleasant colours. TFS.
Have a nice day,

Hi Peter,
This is an epidemy! jajaja. Nice note, and truly note too, with big sense of humour. The shot is beautiful, the three friends in diagonal, interested in the same thing, for us invisible, are really a great photographic subject. The landscape around them is beautiful. Clever composition, great lights and colors. Thanks.

Hello Peter! Congrats, you've captured the spirit of the experience wonderfully. It's very interesting and also inspiring to see yourself and others at work, so I thank you for taking this shot. It's also a perfect momento of a great weekend shared with wonderful people and so this goes into my favorites.
I have to admit this image makes me cringe when I look and see my 70-200 L series lens about to fall out of my vest. And my photo bag is half open, another accident waiting to happen. So I thank you for the reminder to be more conscious of our precious equipment.

The scariest part of TE-itis is that as of yet, there is no known cure! ;-)
The tricky lighting is handled very well here, and I love the love POV looking up towards the mountaintops, and these fellow trekearthers. Who are the members in this photo?

Hola Peter.
Your shot is the perfect example of friendship with other TE members, to be able to meet them and exchange experiences between each other is great, it's nice to be together, all for the same reason, new photographic techniques that maybe will take us weeks or months to learn, you can get it right there. We are all suffering from what you call TE-itis and is quite possible that for some of us is going to be difficult to cure.
By the way your shot is very good.

Graças a Deus!

Haha Peter... Well put.
Yes, its dangerous, and life-bound! and I'm glad about it.
But that doesnt mean the rest of the image isnt impressive... in fact it is too! The hill lines at different levels is clear and looking fantastic.
And i'd be glad to put in the 100th point for this image, if it matters!

Hi Peter,
Quite the master at the art I must say. TE-itis?! Definitely a very virulent form of the disease has infected you, but fear not, I have done the research and the condition is not terminal. It simply runs it's course infecting others as they are vicariously exposed to it by your enthusiasm and expertise with the camera. A word of caution though, try not to stumble when you perch yourself precariuosly on those high cliffs overcome by the thrill of capturing a magic moment, a feeling or just simple unspoiled beauty....would'nt want the first case of TE-itis mortality.
