Photographer’s Note

A quick snapshot on 6th Avenue, also known as Avenue of Americas. Most New Yorkers are familier with the LOVE sculpture, and I have seen some pictures on TE, but for me it was the first time I saw it, and I shot only one picture before the man eating a sandwich would change his posture: I was quite far, and there was a challenge in framing the scene. The blur below is due to a passing car.

cool title this "love lunch"...indeed this is a cute place to have your sandwich...
this passing car causing the blur does not disturb much and in fact - you did really well in these conditions which you mention...

Isolating a single human element in the middle of a tight graphic composition is a kind of picture that I love, Izzet. Colorful 'Love' letters in a b&w world, with a good fitting title. Great shot, considering the conditions you refered.
A cat inside the blue zone of the 'L' would be nice :)

Kırmızı, sizin fotoğraflarınızda bir başka güzel oluyor hocam. Hele buradaki bakış açısını çok ama çok beğendim. Bir yanda renklerin en göz alıcısıyla yazılmış "Love", diğer yanda (hayatın siyah-beyaz tarafında) ona sırtını dayamış, durmakta zorlanan siyahi bir adam... Muhteşem bir bakış açısı, farklı bir hikaye...
ps. belki görmemişsinizdir diye, Süleyman size yaklaşık yirmi tane fotoğraf gönderdi. umarım almışsınızdır.

Nice shot of this landmark, made even more interesting by the two additions. The man eating the sandwich on the sculpture shows a very casual intimacy with art, and maybe its a good thing to be familiar with art rather than treat it with too much respect. The other thing that adds a lot to the scene is that passing car, giving a sense of life and context by showing how busy the location is. Well done!

Hello izzet. As it wants the coincidence so. The Sulptur LOVE was once many years ago issued on the DOCUMENTA in Kassel, - only smaller and in gold. Your strong graphic photo pleases me very well, because the sculpture does not stand there isolated, but attendance by one interests looking man has. Beautifully and worth seeing. Brilliant original and very refreshing shot, Izzet. Love the way it balanced. This is an art of gathering different elements ( including a moving car; - this blur is a nice touch.)

Great colors and touch of the human element. Unfortunate for the car, but not a huge issue. I'm adding to a them on this sculpture I found in pictures here on TE. Hope you don't mind.

Merhaba Izzet.

The blur is not a problem and adds interest to this this daily life shot.
The sculture is great and its red colours makes much more relevant. The man also gives more interest to the photo.
