Wow, fantastic shot!! The colors are great , the detail awesome, but you saw a great photo when you turned your camera on this one. Super capture.

I think this works well because of all the layers of interest - foreground, middleground and background all have something to focus in on, after the initial focusing on the boat.
Nicely framed.

Hi Olga,

That is just wonderful! Seeing those last shots of Alaska, I do start to wonder what you've been doing there?! Well, next to taking phot-shots, and shots of vodka every time you went inside to defrost your fingers and camera :-).
Think I have to add you to my favourites, to make life easier in not having to look around for good pictures anymore and just get the links in my inbox on a daily basis ;-).

The dry grass in the front, the boat - dark, crispy sharp and out of the middle, and the beautiful mountains in the back. Just a wonderful feeling of being abandoned, of decay, of emptyness and silence.
Would be a great place for kids to play. But well, they are all frozen to death before reaching it hahaha.

Hi Olga! what an amazing scene you show us!
Colors and sharpness and DOF are very good, it is a place ibnteresting to visit but looks also dangerous!
There is also a plane in the sky to get more interesting the photo.
